IT Manager

Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the reliable operation, maintenance, and advancement of the company's technology systems. This role includes managing infrastructure, hardware, software, network systems, and end-user support. The IT Manager will collaborate with all departments to understand business needs and develop effective technology solutions to support company operations. This is a full-time in-office position in our Macon, GA Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
.Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, system integrity, and operational efficiency.
.Attain deep familiarity with the company’s ERP data structure.
.Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the entire technology infrastructure including servers, workstations, CCTV systems, and networks in conjunction with third party administrators.
.Partner with departmental leaders to assess and meet technological needs through custom solutions.
.Provide Tier 1–3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including ticket management, resolution tracking, and end-user communication.
.Coordinate with third-party vendors and support partners for issue resolution and project implementation.
.Periodically travel to remote offices for hands-on support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or new systems as needed.
.Be available outside of normal business hours for critical infrastructure maintenance and urgent issue resolution.
Qualifications
.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
.Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT department or similar role.
.Proficiency with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Hyper-V, Office 365, Azure.
.Experience with VMWare, Cisco networking equipment, and general networking concepts.
.Strong leadership and team management skills.
